Is Green Tea Worth It?The Green Tea Debate
More and more, green tea is gaining respectability amongst mainstream western countries. It is sold in most supermarkets and extracts of the green tea can be found in some weight loss supplements - but can it burn fat ? The Background On Green Tea And Weight LossIf you haven't been following the green tea story, a 1999 study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (AJCN) found that green tea extract was associated with a 4% increase in the amount of calories the body burns.[1] Nutritionists quickly put this result into perspective and maintained that in real terms this 4% increase would mean it would take you over three months to lose just two pounds - not very thrilling. Green Tea Can Burn Fat
We know that green tea can play a role in fat burning, and thermogenesis.
A 2005 study published in the AJCN found that men who drank oolong tea
fortified with green tea extract ...... more Menu's, Eating Plans and Exercise LibrarySome of you in the past filled out a survey at the website recently telling me what your goals are and how you'd like to achieve them.
Some of you requested set diet plans and said that you would find them helpful.
When I surveyed visitors to Savvy Fat Burning Food almost all of you said that you would benefit from either set diet plans, an exercise library, a recipe library or a combination of these.
Since then, I've done some work and researched where you can get your hands on a quality weight loss program that is both cheap and effective. There are many out there but I have found this one to be one of the best because it covers the three most important aspects of weight loss.
When you attack these three areas altogether, you give yourself a much greater chance of losing weight and keeping it off for good.
The program is in the form of an e-book called Melt The Fat written by Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutritionist Lynn VanDyke. How The Menus and Exercise Library In Melt The Fat Are Helping OthersThe e-book is only fairly new, but Lynn has been receiving feedback like this below which really shows how much others are getting out of it, and was a good sign for me that you would benefit from it as well.
"Hi, Lynn.
Thank you so much for creating Melt the Fat. I have tried so many diets and fitness programs in the past. Each time I lost weight, but I always gained it back.
I just got so tired of counting calories and keeping track of everything I ate. I bought your ebook with a bit of hesitation, but figured with your guarantee I could always ask for a refund.
I am writing to tell you that I will NEVER ask for a refund. I have lost 42 pounds and have kept it off! The menus you provide are excellent, and the routines are so clear. I have never seen a program that was so simple to do, but produced such amazing results for me. Thank you and please let me know if you create more products! - Your biggest fan, Susan Parent", Strengthening Your AbsWhen people think of strengthening your abdominal area, people think of situps, but this exercise can be done without hard crunching and still work your tummy muscles. Step 1: Lay on a gym mat on the floor on your back. Place your hands behind your head. Step 2: Bend one leg and rest your foot squarely on the floor. Step 3: Raise and point your other leg straight upwards while simultaneously raising your head and arms. Step 4: Repeat 15 times and then change legs and repeat. When raising your leg and head at the same time you are working the muscles in your abdominal area.
