Losing weight with a buddy
Having someone to talk to about issues such as the inability to exercise or lack of motivation is a powerful mode of support. This means that there will always be someone there to talk freely with. If you chose your buddy wisely, they will have no other agenda but than to help you lose weight. If you feel that you aren't on track, they'll be there to urge you to get straight back onto your diet program.
Your buddy whoever that might be, should be someone who knows you and is willing to devote some time to you. They don't have to be leaning over you 24/7 - but they need to be able to meet with you as often as is convenient.
Your buddy can also be trying to lose weight if that is O.K. with you, and you can be their buddy, but you must have made a commitment to help each other lose weight.
